Cubes of Cagliostro by Magiro, Howard Schwarzman

Description

This is a high-end version of Magiro’s amazing Wurfel Mysterium. This version wasn’t made by Magiro but was custom made without permission for Howard Schwarzman’s Limited Editions Magic line.  Howie renamed the effect The Cubes of Cagliostro after the famous Italian magician and occultist: Alessandro Cagliostro. In the instructions Howie even went to the trouble of saying the effect was Handmade in Italy, along with a copy of the Italian instructions.   In fact this version was made by the German company named Cannon (talk about attention to detail, to hide the real inventor).

Even though no credit was given to Magiro this is Magiro all the way and the “Italian” instructions  included the exact same images from the original Magiro instructions. In this form or the original it still remains one of the most amazing effects that Magiro ever created and simply defies explanation.

Effect: Ask a spectator to examine two solid wooden blocks, as well as a solid magic wand. They are all really totally solid. Cover the props with a beautiful wooden cover and you are ready to go. Take the magic wand and make it penetrate, first through the upper block, then right through to the lower block. It looks like real magic! Immediately, hand out all the props for examination! You have never seen anything like this before. Neither has your audience!
