Description
Notice: Includes two matching half dollars with Houdini on one side as shown in the video.
A beautiful Mahogany coin well or vanishing coin box that is perfect to vanish, appear or change a half dollar sized coin. According to the Owen’s 1976 catalog this was invented by Carl Brema and it is pictured in Richard Buffum’s The Brema Brasses (c. 1981) as Mahogany Vanishing Coin Box (c. 1915 or before) and sold by Floyd Thayer too.
Effect: Two small pieces of hardwood having cavities sized to hold a half-dollar are joined at one end with a pivot. A coin is vanished and instantly appears between the halves of the Coin Well. The coin can be made to vanish or reappear at will each time the Coin Well is closed and reopened.
