This looks very similar to Jimmy Rogers’ I’ll Start Again paddle. But as it turns out although Jimmy began working on his routine as early as 1944, Harry Stanley did not release it until 1964, whereas Supreme released this c. 1952. In this version released c. 1977 it also includes the full Jimmy Rogers routine (with permission) so you get it all here complete with 8 pages of instructions.
As a paddle I would prefer a slightly thinner handle but that is personal preference and easy to resolve if you were to actually perform this. Comes with some great routines and you get a lot of ideas for your money here.

JIMMY ROGERS, the popular professional magician, came up with his own routine entitled ‘I’ll Start Again’ which soon became popular with magicians, as a sure-fire, entertaining effect. Published by HARRY STANLEY, full copyrights were purchased by Supreme Magic. This excellent routine is now included with each Blackboard Bat we sell. The routine is a whole series of surprises, the great gag line throughout is “I’ll Start Again!” – and you do!
In addition to this, Alan Alan has added his finishing line for the effect. “Finishing line? ” – yes, it’s just that, – for suddenly a broad chalk line appears on both sides of the paddle! You get the special paddle, nicely-made in wood, PLUS all the routines so you can work these great effects.
